Before you attend
These are wellbeing experiences, not medical treatment. We cannot assess medical suitability through a booking checkbox. If you have a health condition, take medication affecting your response to heat or cold, or are unsure whether an activity is suitable, speak to a qualified clinician before booking and contact us about adjustments. Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or take part while unwell.
Sauna and cold water
Heat and cold place demands on your heart and circulation. Seek individual clinical advice if you have heart or blood-pressure problems, fainting, or a condition that could affect safe participation. Stay hydrated and leave the heat if you feel unwell. Follow the host’s instructions and the venue’s safety rules.
Cold water can cause an involuntary gasp and loss of breathing control. Enter gradually, keep your head above water while your breathing settles and remain within your depth. Never jump or dive in. Do not hyperventilate or hold your breath in the water. Conditions may mean a dip is shortened or does not go ahead; a stated dip duration is not a target you must complete.
Breathwork, meditation and sound
Take part at a comfortable pace. Breathe normally if a technique feels uncomfortable; stop and tell the host if you feel dizzy, distressed or unwell. Ask us in advance about sound levels, accessibility or adapting a session. There is no expectation to disclose personal experiences to the group.
If something goes wrong
Tell the host immediately if you feel unwell. For a life-threatening emergency call 999. For someone in difficulty at sea, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. For non-emergency medical advice in England, use NHS 111.
